And then the world got two more vegans

I want to dedicate this post to two persons who decided to try out the vegan lifestyle.
- CONGRATULATIONS SCOTT & DANNI! (& welcome to the vegan side of life!)

I always find it impressive with people that are willing to radically change their lifestyle as soon as they get more aware of the truth behind our meat- egg- and dairy eating society, instead of trying to hide from the truth and continue to live as always (and as the majority of people) because that really is the easiest (and laziest) way to live.

Scott and Danni saw Gary Yourofskys speech on holiday in Thailand. After that Scott posted a heartfelt status update on Facebook that I think many people can relate to:

They were both meat eaters when they saw the speech but felt horrible after watching it. Back home in Australia, the first thing they did was to go for a vegan food shop and now they're gonna try to continue their lives as vegans.

Vegan stories like this always makes me sooo happy. It makes me feel good about the future. Even though it's a long way to go before the world will have vegans as the normatively and not meat eaters, my biggest hope is that one day, people will look back at this era and think "how could people be so cruel to other individuals, THAT is crazy. I can't believe people actually ate animals!?!"

My best tip for a vegan beginner, as i've mentioned before, is to watch the awesome documentary Vegucated. This documentary shows that veganism doesn't have to be very complicated or hard, no matter who you are.

Now - vegan happy dance everyone!
